Sing with the Orchestra

Be the star you were meant to be! Sing with the Orchestra is a special opportunity to perform with and lead an ensemble of professional musicians backing you up during your moment in the spotlight.

Over the course of three days, you’ll rehearse a song of your choice with the orchestra and then perform it in front of friends, family, and those of other fellow participants. You’ll gain confidence performing for an audience and learn to lead and react to the musicians. Participants have gone on to perform in shows with us or in various productions across the country. All ages and levels of experience are welcome!

🎹 Day 1

A workshop with the music director at the piano, with a focus on pacing and cues. All participants are present so you can take notes across a variety of songs and styles.

🎺 Day 2

Rehearsal with the orchestra to get in tune with the ensemble. Learn how instrumentation can affect timing, momentum, and stage presence.

🎤 Day 3

A last dress rehearsal with the orchestra before the final performance!
